The General Manager of the Kogi State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KOSSAA) Hon. Osaseyi Richard has held a critical meeting with members of staff to strategize on effective measures for ensuring compliance by all political parties with the State’s campaign signage and advertisement levy on Tuesday 18 August 2026.

The meeting focused on strengthening monitoring and enforcement mechanisms to ensure that political parties and their supporters comply with the prescribed requirements for the display of campaign posters, billboards, banners and other forms of political advertisements across the state.

The General Manager emphasized the importance of professionalism, teamwork and diligence among staff in carrying out the agency’s mandate, noting that effective monitoring and proper documentation of political campaign signage would contribute significantly to the success of the revenue-generation drive.

He urged all staff to work collectively and remain committed to their responsibilities, stressing that the success of the exercise requires the cooperation and dedication of every member of the agency.

Hon. Osaseyi further called on staff to put all hands on deck, maintain effective communication and ensure that the process is carried out transparently and professionally in line with the relevant guidelines of the Kogi State Government.

He reiterated KOSSAA’s commitment to ensuring an orderly and properly regulated signage environment across the state while supporting the government’s efforts to improve internally generated revenue and promote compliance among political parties and other stakeholders.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by the staff to work as a team towards achieving the agency’s mandate and ensuring the success of the campaign signage levy exercise across Kogi State.
