Olujumu Fetes Gov. Ododo at Eid al-Adha, Urges Muslims to Imbibe Lessons of Obedience, Sacrifice

The Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom and Chairman Ijumu local government area traditional council, HRM Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni has felicitated with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chief Servant of Kogi State and Muslims in the country on the Eid el Kabir festival.

 

Oba Ayeni, in a congratulatory message, emphasized the need for Nigerians to live a sacrificial life for the progress and peace of the country.

 

The Ijumu paramount ruler enjoined Muslims to emulate the good virtues of Prophet Muhammad by exhibiting love, selflessness and obedience to the commandments of Allah.

 

He told them to use the auspicious occasion to pray for an end to the security challenges bedevilling the country.

 

Oba Ayeni who showered encomiums on the Governor, hailed his commitment to security and wellbeing of the people.

 

He wished Muslims in Ijumu, Kogi State and Nigeria a successful and fruitful festival and emphasised the need for moderate celebration with obedience to constituted authority.
