The Convener of Sanity Multi-Efforts Forum – SMEF, *Ambassador Dan Olaitan Dada ‘Prince’, says the ongoing heat giving to banditry, kidnapping and other security challenges is impressive and commendable.
Prince Dan in a statement commended the renewed and impressive efforts of Nigeria’s security agencies, state governors, and police commissioners in the fight against insecurity across the country.

“The rate at which security stakeholders are responding to insecurity now is very impressive and must be acknowledged. From the Civil Defence in Akwa Ibom, to the Commissioner of Police in Kogi, to the arrests of bandits and kidnappers in several states – these are not small wins. Sanity is visible when security works.”
The SMEF Convener noted that insecurity is the first barrier to prosperity.
“No investor builds where there is fear. No truck moves where there is risk. So when we see coordinated arrests, deployment of patrol vans, and state governments backing security agencies, SMEF must speak up. Commendation encourages more action,” he stated.
Prince Dan called on all Nigerians to support security agencies with credible information while urging governors and CPs to sustain the momentum. “SMEF’s first pillar is Security. We will continue to document, research, and amplify every effort that restores safety, mobility, and confidence in our communities. Sanity Must Be It. Systems Must Work.”
