Osun Govt. Announces Implementation Date for New Minimum Wage, Improved N25,000 Welfare for Pensioners

Osun State Government has announced December 1st as date for the implementation of the new Minimum Wage for workers in the State.

 

Governor Ademola Adeleke in a post on his official X formerly Twitter page also announced improved welfare package for Osun pensioners.

 

“Sequel to the earlier announced new minimum wage for public workers in Osun State, I am elated to announce 1st of December, 2024, as the date for the implementation of the payment of N75,554.28 to all categories of workers, including local government employees across the State. This includes payment of one month arrears to all public servants in the State.

 

“Additionally, a sum of N25,000 has been approved as an improved pension package across board for all pensioners in the state. This is in consideration of the plight of our senior citizens in this current economic situation.
