The immediate past National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Kola Ologbondiyan has described PDP as the most structured political party in Nigeria.

Speaking after the decamping ceremony of a former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Umar Imam, who defected from All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja, Ologbondiyan said PDP is on course to rescue Nigeria and Kogi state.

Ologbondiyan, who is a spokesperson for the presidential campaign council, allayed fears about the unresolved differences in the party, insisting that PDP is a unique political family with capacity to reconcile all aggrieved persons in their fold.

He stated that the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and five dissenting state Governors (G-5) had expressed readiness to reconcile at different occasions.

PDP is the most structured political party in Nigeria. PDP is in every family, home, polling units, wards and local governments in Nigeria.

“As a big cordial family, we have this confidence that we will resolve all differences and go into the elections as a united party,” he said.

Ologbondiyan lamented the excruciating pains Nigerians had endured in the last seven years of APC rule. He urged the electorate to persevere and be determined to effect proper change at the polls next month.

“Nigerians are tired of APC. Everybody want a proper and prosperous change. We will achieve this through the ballot.”

He lauded the former Kogi Assembly Speaker for joining PDP, noting that he was schemed out by the APC-led government in the state because of his irrepressible integrity.

Ologbondiyan expressed confidence that PDP will win the general elections in Kogi state and reclaim the Lugard House.
