The Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN) has joined the Federal Government and the entire nation in commemorating Nigerian Democracy Day.
National President of POHAN, Bashorun MD Eseyin in a statement described the day as a significant occasion to celebrate the tenets of democracy.
“On this significant occasion, we celebrate the enduring spirit of democracy and the collective efforts that continue to shape our nation.
Bashorun Eseyin, extends heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and all public office holders across the country. Democracy Day is a testament to the resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment of the Nigerian people to uphold democratic values and principles.
“Today, we honor the sacrifices and contributions of those who have worked tirelessly to build and sustain our democracy. We acknowledge the progress made and the challenges that lie ahead. It is a day to reaffirm our dedication to good governance, transparency, and accountability,” stated Bashorun MD Eseyin, Ph.D.
