The Action Alliance (AA) candidate in the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh has commiserated with the people of Kabba-Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency over the death of Hon Olaiya Michael Olobatoke.
Olobatoke who was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for House of Representatives, Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election died this week Wednesday.
Braimoh, in a statement he personally signed stated that: “It is with a heavy heart that I mourn the sudden demise of Hon. Olaiya Michael Olobatoke. The late Olobatoke was a generous man and supporter of youths, particularly those in his constituency. His death, has no doubt, created a vacuum in Kabba-Bunu LGA, Okunland and Kogi State in general.
“My family and I deeply condole with his immediate family, the good people of Owe, Kabba-Bunu LGA and Kogi State, in general. I pray that almighty God grants his gentle soul eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss”.
