The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba says relevant stakeholders in Ijumu Local Government need to do more on tackling security challenges bedeviling the Area.
Dr. Fashagba also tasked the Traditional Rulers in the Area to rise up and do everything humanly possible to nip crimes and criminalities in every Community in the bud.

He was speaking at the Ijumu Consultative Forum Meeting, held at the Palace of the Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom at Iyara.
According to him, all stakeholders of the Area both home and Diaspora must be intentional and committed to the issue of fight security challenges being experienced in the Area.
The Provost, who was giving a rousing welcome at the meeting, explained that the Area of leaving matters of security in the hands of government is over, saying time has come to be collective and ensure unity of purpose in fighting the challenge.
He used the meeting to appreciate the support given him during the announcement of his appointment and reiterated his commitment to make Ijumu and Kogi people proud.
