A Kogi State Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Dr. Bolufemi Rotimi has backed Rivers State Governor, Nyesome Wike over his comment that former Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye is not fit for governance.

This is just as he apologized to the River State Governor over the name calling of Melaye, saying not all people in Kogi are rude, ungrateful and disrespectful.

Hon. Bolufemi Rotimi while speaking with Newsmen in Lokoja, said the PDP will lose the forthcoming election if the Party gives it ticket to Senator Melaye through the back door as all Aspirants are ready to kill and bury the party if the needful is not done.

According to him, the comment of Governor Wike was the truth as giving a percentage of delegates to Melaye before the Primary after Aspirants bought Nomination and Expression of Interest Form is an act of malpractice that will be resisted by all means.

“Wike has not said anything brutal. He only asked Dino to go through the proper channel, which is primary election as he will lose if he tries to win through the back door. In Dino’s reply, he called Wike a liar, how did he lie? Not everyone in Kogi State is rude and we don’t insult Elders.

He pointed out that haven admitted that Wike gave him hundreds of thousands of dollars to contest 2019 Governorship, the former Kogi West Senator insulted the River State Governor, saying such a man is an ingrate.

He cautioned the Presidential Candidate of the party in the just concluded general elections to beware of the personality of Melaye as he might bully him in no distant time than now.

He however warned the National Headquarters of the party not to change the Delegate list and called on Delegates to avoid money politics in their choice of the Candidate of the party.
