As Workers all over the World mark this year’s May Day, Governorship Candidate of the Action Alliance (AA), Mr Olayinka Braimoh has sent a message of hope to Kogi Workers.

The AA Governorship Candidate in a statement by his Campaign Office in Lokoja disclosed his clear vision of wealth creation and distribution in the state, stating that when this is fully implemented, rationed salaries and unpaid pensions will all become things of the past.

In his words, “On this day, I greet, celebrate and applaud the contributions of Kogi workers to the development of the State. I am however very sad to realize the hardship they are presently going through due to rationed salaries and unpaid pensions. This is quite worrisome because the holy books states that worker’s should be paid before their sweats gets dried. So, why can’t this be ensured in a State that’s naturally blessed by nature. As I have always maintained, my clear vision is to create and distribute wealth through retention and this will will, no doubt, ensure that workers will begin to get their entitlements as an when due.

“By the time my government blue print is fully implemented, prompt payment of bonuses, overtime and others to be introduced will be automated and workers will no longer have to struggle to get what rightly belong to them. So, they should be very hopeful that Kogi of our dream will surely be realized through my government”
