Kogi SGS Meets Ifeolukotun Wards APC Stakeholders, Donates 2 Electric Motorcycles to Aide Community Policing

The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade PhD over the weekend held a meeting with stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifeolukotun Ward 1, Ward 2.

The meeting was aimed at deliberating on the ensuring success in the ongoing e-registration of membership of the ruling Party.

Mrs. tasked the stakeholders to take the gospel of the outstanding performance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chief Servant of Kogi State to every nook and cranny of the Ward in a bid to expand the supporters based of APC in the Ward.


According to her, the party both at the State and National levels have restored the hope of Kogi people and Nigerians respectively in governance as both leaders have the capacity to deliver more democracy dividends to the people.

She stated that the Governor in particular has in the last two years in office provided purposeful leadership with massive investment in human capital development, security, agriculture, education, health as well as engagement of youths and women in governance.

Mrs. Ayoade maintained that more of such quality leadership is needed to take the people of the State to the Promised land, hence the need to canvas more membership for the party.

The SGS added that the success stories of Gov. Ododo were made possible due to the fatherly role of President Tinubu, who’s steps the Governor has been following to deliver gains of democracy to the people.

She also paid glowing tributes to former Governor Yahaya Bello and Kogi State Leader, for the choice of Governor Ododo, who has proven to be a tested and trusted man.

The SGS in her usual Philanthropy gesture donated two electric motorcycles to the Wards to enhance Community Policing.

The Electric Motorcycles is a departure from the petrol motorcycles as it has the capacity to move for about one hundred and fifty kilometres (150km) when fully charged.

Mrs. Ayoade said she is starting the donation of the Motorcycles with her Community and more will be given to others in Yagba East Local Government Area.

The Party stakeholders in their respective responses, described the SGS as a huge blessing to the Community, describing the donation of the electric motorcycles as timely and commendable.

They vowed to mobilize more members to enrol in the e-registration of party membership.
