In the name of Almighty God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

My dear brothers and sisters of Kogi West, distinguished elders, respected traditional rulers, vibrant youths, hardworking women, and all stakeholders of our great district—peace be upon you all.

Today, I stand before you with a heart full of gratitude, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility. I am here to formally declare my intention to contest for the senatorial seat of Kogi West.

This decision is not driven by personal ambition alone, but by a sincere love for our people and a strong determination to serve. It is born out of my concern for the challenges we face daily and my unwavering belief that Kogi West deserves better—better representation, better opportunities, and a better future.

For too long, our people have yearned for meaningful development, quality representation, and leadership that listens, understands, and acts in the interest of all. Our communities deserve access to good roads, quality education, improved healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic growth. These are not privileges—they are rights.

I come to you today with a promise anchored in integrity, fairness, and the fear of God. I firmly believe that leadership is a sacred trust, and I am committed to upholding that trust with transparency, accountability, and dedication to service.

My vision is clear: to move Kogi West to the promised land—a place where our youths are gainfully employed, our farmers are supported, our traders thrive, and our communities are secure and united. A place where every voice matters and every citizen feels the impact of good governance.

I will work tirelessly to ensure that the interests of Kogi West are strongly represented. I will engage with you, listen to your concerns, and turn your aspirations into actionable policies. Together, we will build a future that reflects our shared hopes and values.

I cannot do this alone. This journey requires your support, your prayers, and your belief in a better tomorrow. Let us come together—across tribes, religions, and political affiliations—to chart a new course for Kogi West.

May Almighty God guide us, strengthen us, and bless Kogi West.

Thank you all, and may peace be upon you.
