Today, My leader,Friend and the Distinguished representative of the good people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Arch. Salman Idris FNIA, once again invited me to his hotel in Westminster, London, for crucial deliberations.
Remarkably, this is the third time in the last 10 months that he has extended this gesture to me.
Such consistency speaks volumes about his disposition towards his constituents, the value he places on relationships, and his willingness to engage in meaningful conversations.
I consider this a rare privilege and a gesture of goodwill that I will never take for granted.
Beyond these repeated engagements, the month of September witnessed even more profound demonstrations of his kindness and support.
He stood firmly by my family and provided huge support towards giving my late father-in-law a befitting burial.
This was a gesture of compassion and solidarity that my family and I will forever cherish.
As if that were not enough, in that same month, he further demonstrated his commitment by patronising my automobile business.
These are not merely gestures; they are practical demonstrations of people-oriented representation. They reflect a leader who understands that leadership goes beyond occupying public office. It is about building relationships, showing compassion in times of need, creating opportunities, and supporting the economic interests of the people he represents.
Indeed, Arch. Salman Idris FNIA exemplifies a representative who prioritises the welfare, dignity, and businesses of his constituents. His actions continue to reinforce my belief that effective representation must be measured not only by political deliveries but also by tangible acts of kindness, accessibility, and genuine concern for the people.
My profound appreciation goes to you, sir, for the confidence, goodwill, and consistent support you have extended to me and my family. I do not take any of these gestures for granted.
Thank you, Arch. Salman Idris FNIA, for demonstrating that true leadership is about people, relationships, compassion, and empowerment.
May God continue to strengthen you, grant you greater wisdom, and crown your efforts with even greater accomplishments in service to humanity.
Performance, compassion, and continuity!
