Eid-el-Kabir symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, faith, love and total submission to the will of Almighty. These enduring virtues remain fundamental to peaceful coexistence, national unity and sustainable development.
As we celebrate this sacred festival, I urge members of the university community and Nigerians at large to continue to uphold the values of tolerance, compassion, selflessness and mutual respect for one another, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

I wish all Muslim faithfuls a peaceful and fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
