The Ologidi of Ogidi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule, has commended the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for approving and releasing funds for the immediate rehabilitation of the long-abandoned Ogidi-Ayere road.
The Ogidi Paramount Ruler in a statement described the Governor’s gesture as a demonstration of true leadership and a fulfillment of his promise to the people of Ogidi Kingdom.
He noted that the release of funds for the road project has brought immense joy and renewed hope to the entire community.

“We are filled with joy today because our Governor has proven, once again, that he is a man of his word. When leaders keep their promises to the people, it restores faith in governance and strengthens the bond between the government and the governed,” the monarch stated.
Oba Sule stated that this demonstration of love will be reciprocated by the people of the Community, saying the road will improve economic activities in Ogidi, Ayere and Ijumu Oke.
He offered fervent prayers for good health and wisdom to do more for the State and country at large.
The Ologidi expressed gratitude to the Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim for playing a active role in the award of the road, describing him as a good Ambassador of the Community.
