Southward Hospital Announces Free 2-Day Medical Outreach for Pregnant Women in Kabba/Bunu

The Management of Southward Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, Edumo, in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, has announced a two-day free medical outreach for pregnant women within the local government and its environs.

 

According to a statement by the hospital’s Management, the outreach, which demonstrates the health facility’s commitment to the people, is scheduled for Tuesday, 25th, and Wednesday, 26th August 2026.

 

Services expected to be rendered include antenatal consultation, blood pressure and sugar checks, haemoglobin test, counseling on nutrition, safe delivery and danger signs in pregnancy, as well as free health talks and screening.

 

There will also be free consultation and selected other services.

 

The medical outreach will hold at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hospital, from 9am to 2pm daily.

 

The Management restated the hospital’s commitment to early detection of pregnancy-related issues, guidance for safe delivery, and improved health outcomes through its experienced and dedicated staff.
