The Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Salman Idris, has congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the people of the state on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the creation of Kogi State.
In a statement on Thursday, Hon. Idris described the anniversary as a significant milestone in the state’s history, noting that Kogi has continued to record progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare and other sectors since its creation in 1991.
The lawmaker commended Governor Ododo for his commitment to development and good governance, saying the administration has continued to implement people-oriented policies and projects that are positively impacting communities across the state.
He urged the people of Kogi State to remain united and continue supporting efforts aimed at promoting peace, development and economic growth for the benefit of present and future generations.
Hon. Idris prayed for greater progress, prosperity and stability for Kogi State and wished Governor Ododo wisdom and strength as he continues to lead the state to greater heights.
