A Group Known as concern Ijumu Sons and Daughters says it will resist every plan to suspend the member representing the Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Kilani Olushola Olumo from the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.
The Group in a statement made Available to Newsmen by its Coordinator, Raphael Oloruntoba, said the plan to expel the Vibrant Lawmaker from the party is Dead on arrival.
“We have information at our disposal that the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Matthew Kolawole is soliciting for signatures for the suspension of Hon. Kilani Olushola Olumo from the party as revenge over his failure to win the House of Representatives contest.”
This move will not work as Hon. Kilani has worked so hard for the growth of the party in Ayere/Arima Ward, Ijumu Local Government and the State.
As one of the Vibrant members of the House of Assembly, he has no doubt justified the confidence reposed in him by the people of Ijumu via quality representation and legislative business.
Therefore, the move to suspend him from the party is unfortunate and desperation taking too far and we will resist it by everything humanly possible.
