Bida Poly Matriculates Over 5000, Restates Commitment To Academic Standard

The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Engr. Dr. Aliyu Baba Haruna has urged students of the institution to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the school.

 

Engr. Dr. Haruna gave the urge while addressing 2023/2024 matriculating students at the convocation square of the institution.

The Rector said, the School is working hard to introduce more courses to maintain its academic standard.

The Rector, told the matriculating students that the sales of handout and texts books is prohibited in the institution, urging the students to visit the school library to consult relevant books.

Engr. Dr. Haruna was quick to warn the students to shun any form of indecency.

You must shun cultism, don’t involve in any form of hard drugs and must obey the dress code of the institution

Some of the matriculated students promised to be of good conducts and to obey the rules guiding the institution.

As part of the ceremony, a former student of the institution Idris Michael Oluwakorede, of M.I.C Dream Deal enterprise, presented scholarship to two students of the institution.

Earlier, the Matriculation oath was administered by the Registrar, Mallam Mohammed Husseini Enagi.

A total of 5,397 were admitted out of which 2,244 were admitted into national diploma programmes while 3,153 were admitted into higher national diploma programmes.
