Yagba East Paramount Ruler, Oba Etombi Congratulates Gov. Ododo on Apex Court Victory

The Agbana of Isanlu and Chairman Yagba East Local Government Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Moses Babatunde Etombi has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on the affirmation of his victory at the November 11th Governorship Election after it was Challenged by some opposition parties at the Supreme Court.

Oba Etombi in a congratulatory message said the victory has finally laid to rest the legal tussles that have distracted the Governor from focusing on his plans for the people of Kogi State.

The Yagba East Paramount Ruler noted that the verdict by the Apex Court has again shown that Governor Ododo is ordained by God to lead the State at a time like this.

He enjoined the Governor to be magnanimous in victory and open his doors to welcome contenders, who are ready to contribute to the development of Kogi State.

Oba Etombi maintained that now that the legal tussles are over, it is time to focus on governance, urging opposition Candidates who challenged the victory to sheath their sword and work for the collective good of the State.

“On behalf of the people of Isanlu Kingdom and Yagba East Local Government Area, I congratulate our amiable Governor, His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo on his Victories at the Governorship Tribunal, Appeal Court and now the Supreme Court.

His Excellency, now that the legal battles are over, be assured of the unalloyed support and prayers of the people of Yagba East for you to actualise your Renewed Hope Programme for the people of the State.

While praying God to grant the Governor wisdom and good health to enable him to pilot the affairs of the State to enviable height, Oba Etombi also congratulated the Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Idris Asiru on the victory, adding that he has contributed immensely to the development of the State.
