Kogi State All Progressives Congress Campaign Council has announced the postponement of its rally for Kogi West earlier scheduled for Thursday.
The Director General of the Campaign Council, Jamiu Asuku made this known in a statement obtained by The Drum Reporters on Wednesday.
The postponement according the statement was due to the sad news of the Death of HRH. Obadofin of Owe land and Dr. Abdulaziz Farouq ( Tafida of Ebira land).
“I have the approval of His Excellency Yahaya Bello to convey the postponement of Kogi West zonal rally earlier slated for tonmorrow in Kabba till Monday 6th of February, 2023. ”
“While we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to our schedule of events, we pray to God almighty to have mercy on the departed souls of our fathers. Ameen.”
