The Governing Council of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa Dr on Monday held its maiden meeting with a vote of Confidence on the Provost, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba for his remarkable efforts in restoring the lost glory of the Institution.
Chairman of the Council, Prof. Isah Innocent presided over the meeting with the Provost gave his scorecard since he assumed office in March this year.

The Council during the meeting ratified and confirmed the appointment of Dr. Aminu Ibrahim as Deputy Provost of the College.
Also, the 2024 promotion for Staff of the College was confirmed as the Council expressed satisfaction with the outstanding performance of Dr. Fashagba as they pledged to provide the needed support to make the College one of the best in the country.
In a similar vein, the Council deliberated and addressed critical issues that pertain to the well-being and professional concerns of the staff, as well as other vital welfare matters within the institution.
Similarly during the meeting, the governing council, expressed their unwavering support for Dr. Fasahagba Paul Femi by passing a vote of confidence in recognition of his exceptional leadership and his commendable performance in steering the college towards academic excellence and institutional growth.
Furthermore, the council members collectively assured Dr. Fasahagba Paul Femi of their commitment to collaborate closely with him in the pursuit of elevating the institution’s status, aspiring to match and even surpass the standards of federal tertiary institutions across the country.
The elated Provost also conducted the Governing Council tax members round the College as they inspected the work he was done in the few months in office.
The members were all impressed and they also assured him of their support all the time.
