Organisers of the Popular annual Igala Nations Cup Competition in the Eastern Flank of Kogi State, and One of the Most Prestigious Football Tournament in North Central Nigeria has secured a Sponsorship deal with Muri Foundation, a Frontline Foundation and Organization known for its Passionate Philanthropic Projects across Kogi State.
The Organizers of the annual Soccer fiesta headed by a Confederation of African Football (CAF) Licensed Manager and Director Technical Of the Competition Coach Abubakar Kamar Olachene Signed the Sponsorship deal with the Foundation after it indicated interested in playing a Major role in the forthcoming Seventh (7) Edition of the Competition.
At the Signing of dotted lines sealing the deal, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Foundation, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka pointed out that as part of their Cooperate Social responsibility, they have passionately taken it upon themselves to give back to the Society especially through the grassroots.
He also pointed to the fact that Football has become a very viable and profitable venture all over the world that has played a major role in taking the youths off the street and from vices that the society frowns at.
He commended Organizers of the Competition under the able and dynamic leadership of Coach Abubakar Kamar Olachene for his Doggedness, Determination, zeal and tireless efforts over the last 7 years in engaging the youths in positive and Meaningful projects across the land.
All is now set for the Commencement of the 2023 Edition of the Tournament in Kogi State.
