The Senator representing Kogi West, Senator Sunday Karimi on Saturday donated N5 million for the building of the Palace of Alayere of Ayere, Ijumu Local Government Area.
The Lawnmower announced the donation while speaking at the 2026 Ayere Day.
He congratulated the people of the Community for the colourful and eventful celebration, saying he will continue to support the Project until it is completed.

Sen. Karimi used the opportunity to seek support for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
According to him, the President took the decision of subsidy removal in the interest of the generality of the country, expressing optimism that the hardship being faced in the country will soon be over.
He pointed out that the people of Kogi West appreciate the gestures of the President to the District, saying his love will be reciprocated at the right time.
While giving his scorecard, the Federal Lawmaker noted that he has provided quality representation and affected the lives of his Constituents positively.
He solicited for their support towards his re-election bid to enable him to consolidate on his achievements and serve the people better.
The Senator added that if voted for another tenure, he will justify the trust reposed in him.
