Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones on Saturday bagged a Life Time Achiever Award from the Progressive Councilors Forum.
The Forum is a progressive group of 10 Councilors in Kabba/ Bunu Legislative Council representing various ward in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.
The Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Adekunle Smart who is representing Odolu Ward stated that the award became necessary due to the Commissioner’s contribution to the state and humanity.
According to him, the group has carefully monitored the Activities of Hon. Jones and has observed his modest contributions to the State Education sector.
Responding, the Commissioner expressed appreciation to the forum for the honour and dedicated the award to the State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello.
He promised to ensure that the State Education sector is better than he met it.
