The Ogidi Omo Movement Grassroots Impact Programme recorded another major success on its third day as it landed in Gbede land, Ijumu Local Government Area, with telemedicine services and cash empowerment for market women.
The programme, held at the Ayetoro-Gbede Town Hall, attracted over 200 market women from across the Gbede axis who benefited from cash support aimed at boosting their businesses and strengthening family livelihoods.

A key highlight of the day was the deployment of the Ododo Telemedicine initiative, which provided residents access to free basic healthcare consultations and health support, in line with the administration’s drive to take quality healthcare closer to the people at the grassroots.
The programme is part of the broader grassroots engagement programme of the Movement designed to provide practical support that addresses both economic and health needs of rural communities.

Speaking, Hon. Olumoko expressed appreciation to God and all stakeholders for the success of the programme, including the planning committee, community leaders, security personnel, health workers, volunteers and the media.
He said the initiative was driven by a commitment to community service and to create practical opportunities that directly impact lives at the grassroots, while urging residents to sustain unity and support for the government.
Olumoko assured participants that arrangements were being finalised on other support packages discussed, and urged continued support for the administration from the federal to the local level to sustain the delivery of more dividends of democracy.
He reminded the gathering to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next general elections.
Speakers at the ceremony described Hon. Olumoko as a blessing to the present generation, urging him to be focused and ignored distractions.
Dignitaries at the event included the Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim, represented by Hon. Sunday Henry; Mrs. Olumoko, mother of Hon. Funsho Olumoko; Hon. Richard Osaseyi and Hon. Femi Esemikose.
