The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Kogi State Command Lokoja, CC Ahmad Ahmad Gandi, has charged the newly promoted Officers of Kogi State Command to be more committed, responsible and diligent in their duties.
The State Commandant made this statement during the decoration exercise of 143 newly promoted Officers in the State Command.
In his speech, the NSCDC helmsman Congratulated the Officers on their promotion saying it was a great privilege.
Further more Ahmad Ahmad Gandi Stressed that, “the Society and your Masters are expecting more from you so you have to be up and doing to show that you actually merited your promotion” he said.
The Commandant assured the people of Kogi State, the NSCDC commitment towards a continuous and robust synergy with other sister agencies in the State with respect to maintaining law and order.
He appreciated the NSCDC Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD Mni OFR for always taking the welfare of NSCDC personnel very seriously which includes promotion, training amongst others, this he noted has always boost the morale of the personnel.
During the Ceremony the State Commandant appreciated the Heads of other sister agencies who were on ground to celebrate with him, as they assisted him in decorating the promoted Officers, and these includes the Commissioner of Police Kogi State Command Lokoja, CP Akeem Yusuf, the Comptroller of Correctional services Kogi State Command Igbago David, representative of the Comptroller of Immigration Kogi State Command Lokoja, amongst others.
In his remarks to the promoted Officers, the Commissioner of Police Kogi State Command Lokoja Akeem Yusuf emphasized on the need to show good examples to others below them so that the junior Officers can emulate them, just as he stressed that more is expected from them as they carry out their duties.
DCC Adebayo Olukunle Fasakin one of the promoted Officer who spoke on behalf of others, thanked the State Commandant Ahmad Ahmad Gandi for his efforts towards making the ceremony a success.
DCC Fasakin assured the Commandant of more commitment, responsibility and diligent to duties by the promoted Officers.
