Hajia Lami Adamu Lau, President of the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS), has extended Eid greetings to Nigerian women, praising their resilience and strength.
In her Eid message to the Muslim sisters in the Council, Adamu-Lau said, “You are the backbone of our families and communities, playing vital roles in every aspect of society, your unwavering faith, dedication, and hard work inspire us all.”
She urged women to use the Eid al-Fitr celebration to strengthen bonds of unity and support for one another.
“Let us come together as Nigerian women, supporting and empowering each other,” she added.
The NCWS President also emphasized the importance of helping the less fortunate and carrying the spirit of Ramadan forward throughout the year.
