The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has donated two branded operational vehicles to security agencies to boost anti-cultism operations and overall campus security.
He disclosed this at an Expanded Security Stakeholders’ Meeting held on Monday at the University Council Chamber, attended by security agencies, traditional rulers and other stakeholders.

Usman said one vehicle had been dedicated to the Joint Security and Anti-Cultism Squad, while the other would strengthen routine security patrols within the university and its environs.
He also announced the reconstitution of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee and Examination Misconduct Committee, alongside the establishment of a new Committee on Behavioural Change and Cult Renunciation to counsel and rehabilitate students linked to anti-social activities, warning that those who refused to desist would face the full wrath of the law.

The Ogohi Onu-Anyigba, HRH Alhaji Shaibu Okolo, and Dekina Local Government Chairman, Hon. John Urah Ikani, also pledged continued support for security within the university community.
