Hajiya Sefinat Ododo noted that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has been devoted to the welfare of the people of the state, hence she urged wives of government officials and women in government to support the administration as they work with other stakeholders to reduce the present economic burden on the people.

The Wife of the Governor said she is passionate about the wellbeing of women, girl child education and support for vulnerable members of the society, a commitment she noted made her to key into the Renewed Hope Initiative(RHI) of the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

According to Hajiya Sefinat Ododo, the government would continue to support indigent women, including widows and orphans to have access to vocational education and life changing skills.

The Wife of the Governor therefore enjoined the women to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan, forgive one another, care for the less privileged and give generously for the sake of Allah.

High point of the occasion was the special prayers by Muslim leaders in the state led by the chief Imam of the Kogi State Government House Mosque, Alhaji Bashir Musa for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the immediate past Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and their families as well as citizens of the state.
