Tinubu Donates N100m to Kogi Flood Victims, Promises to Tackle Annual Flooding If Voted for

The Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu says his administration will tackle perennial flooding affecting Kogi State and Nigeria if elected president.

The APC Flag Bearer stated this while addressing teeming supporters of the party at the newly built Muhammadu Buhari Square in Lokoja.

In a message delivered by the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Senator Tinubu promised to work with the Kogi State government to devise a permanent solution to the disaster which had caused several deaths and loss of valuables particularly in rural communities.

The APC Presidential candidate assured party supporters that his administration would confront security, revamp the economy, increase electricity supply as well as empower the teeming population through creation of more jobs.

While calling on citizens to vote in the APC, Senator Tinubu said the Tinubu-Shettima government would build on the successes of President Muhammadu Buhari in the areas of agriculture, rail and road infrastructure and many more.

He further gave people of the state assurance that government would explore the abundant resources in Kogi state for the benefit of citizens.

The Kogi state Governor proceeded to commission the APC presidential campaign office in Lokoja as he led party and government officials as well as supporters across the 21 local government areas of the state in a walk from the Muhammadu Buhari Square.
