Your Reappointment a Reward for Loyalty, Integrity and Hard Work, Former KOSIREC Members Eulogize Kogi SSG

The Chairman, Kogi State Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and former co-chairman, Kogi State Inter-Religious Council (KOSIREC) in the last administration , Pastor Olaniyan Adebayo, said faithfulness, loyalty and hard work paved way for the SSG to be reconsidered to serve in the new government.

He disclosed this when the former council paid a courtesy call on the SSG in her office in Lokoja.

The KOSIREC co-chairman said the reappointment of the SSG did not come as a surprise to many familiar with her quick ability to deliver squarely and effectively.

According to Pastor Olaniyan, “KOSIREC in the past had played vital role in peace mediation in our communities.”

In the last governorship election in the State, tensions were high and we moved in to speak to the people and calm nerves

He added that they were ceaseless in prayers to the Almighty God for peace and unity of the State.

The council thanked the State leader, Alhaji Yahaya Bello CON for his numerous achievements and the confidence he had in KOSIREC, pointing to its role in resolving Bassa communal crises.

Responding, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State , Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D thanked the council for the visit, kind words and prayers.

She said her reappointment was an act of God Almighty, so will rededicate herself more in service to the State and humanity.

The SSG praised the State leader, Alhaji Yahaya Bello CON for the opportunity to serve the State in high capacity.

“ If l have worked hard in the past administration, l will work even harder, if l have been loyal, l will be more loyal to the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, she announced.

The SSG informed her audience of the desire of her foundation to build a home for Orphans, Widows and the vulnerable elderly in Lokoja.

Highlights of the visit was presentation of gift items to the SSG.

In return on behalf of her foundation, Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows and Orphans (FAIWO), she presented a package to each of her guests.
