Dr. Fashagba Bags Outstanding Humanitarian Service Award, Thank Gov. Ododo for Opportunity to Serve Kogi

The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba has been conferred with an award of Excellence for Humanitarian Service.

Dr. Fashagba was conferred with the honour at this year’s Biennial Lecture and Award Investiture organised by the Ade Bada Foundation International in Lokoja.

The Award was present on behalf of the Foundation by the National President of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ, Comrade Alhassan Yayha.

 

The Award was in recognition of his outstanding Leadership Qualities and service to God and Humanity.

Since assuming office in March last year, the College of Education has been implementing the mission of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the Education sector in the College with Staff and Students testifying to the fact that he is God sent.

 

Responding to the Honour, Dr. Fashagba dedicated it to Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving him the opportunity to serve the State as Provost, saying he is ready to do more.

According to him, with the support of the Governor and other critical stakeholders, he has been able to reduce the water and electricity challenges of the College.

 

He maintained that his administration is committed to improving academic standards of the College and restoring its lost glory.

 

While thanking the Foundation for the honour, Dr. Fashagba assured that it will spur him to do more.
