Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Saturday hosted 10-year-old Queen Aisha Salau Audu, winner of Little Miss Nigeria 2026, at the Government House, Lokoja.
Queen Aisha, an Ebira girl and immediate past Little Miss Kogi, emerged overall winner of the national pageant, bringing honour to Kogi State.
She was accompanied by Queen Pristine Somadina Chinedu of Imo State, who emerged second runner-up and won the Little Miss Nigeria International crown.
The Governor congratulated the young queens and said their achievements show the importance of nurturing children’s talent and confidence.
Ododo said his administration is committed to celebrating excellence and supporting initiatives that unlock the potential of children and youths.
He described Queen Aisha’s victory as a moment of collective pride for Kogi, proving that children from the state can excel nationally.
Speaking, Queen Aisha thanked Governor Ododo for the warm reception and pledged to represent Kogi with dignity and serve as a positive example to other children.
The Little Miss Nigeria pageant promotes confidence, talent, leadership and cultural awareness among children.
