Ramadan: Staff of Kogi SSG Office Laud Mrs. Folashade Ayoade for Donating Provisions To Muslims

Staff in the Office of the Secretary to Government of Kogi State have been enjoined to brace up for work so as to be counted on to meet up with the policies and programmes of the Government.

The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State (SSG), Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D stated this during a general meeting with staff members in the conference room of her office Thursday.

She said the office of the SSG is strategic to the government, therefore urged staffs to tighten their belts to deliver optimally and efficiently.

According to the SSG, His Excellency, Executive Governor, Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is making arrangements to put in place a befitting edifice for the office.

Adding that staff are left with no choice other than to reciprocate the gesture and be at their best by ensuring prompt service delivery.

Mrs. Ayoade said staff welfare will be given high considerations to boost morale.

Am also not neglecting training as it is crucial for optimal productivity. We are making arrangements to send staff to the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) in batches to boost capacity  

The SSG mandated the Muslims faithful to take advantage of the holy month of Ramadan to pray for the success, unity, peace and progress of the State and country at large.

“I urge you all to be committed, diligent and contented. Godliness with contentment is a great gain,” she concluded.

Earlier in his opening remarks, the Permanent Secretary Administration in the Office of the SSG, Mr. Benjamin Ajodo thanked the SSG for putting in place a forum where Management and Staffs can come together and interact.

He also praised the SSG for providing provisions to Muslims colleagues in the office to ease economic hardship, foster brotherhood and love.

The Permanent Secretary urged staff to report early to work and remain until official closing hour.
