Gbede Kingdom Announces Date For 2025 Gbede Day

The Gbede Traditional Council and Gbede Development Union is Set to hold the Second Edition of her Cultural Heritage Display, Conferment of Honourary Titles and Merit Awards.

 

The Gbede Cultural Day 2025 with the THEME: “The Importance of Culture: Gbede Kingdom in Focus”, will take place on Saturday, 19th April, 2025 at the Olugede Palace Site, Ayetoro-Gbede, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State by Ten O’clock in the morning.

 

A statement by the Planning Committee explained that the event is aimed at Raising Funds for the Building of a Modern Multipurpose Secretariat for the Gbede Traditional Council.

 

The event will have Former Director General – Protocol, Government House – Sunday Ayenibe as Guest Speaker, Royal Father of the Day, Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom, HRM Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni, the Olugbede of Gbede Kingdom – HRM Oba Olusegun Oloruntoba is the Royal Chief Host while the President, Gbede Development Union – Prince Israel Oshafunmi, serves as Host.

 

The statement added that the presence and generous donation of all sons and daughters of Gbede Kingdom both at home and in the diaspora including other well wishers, will be highly appreciated.
