Yesterday the 6th of April 2026, which was Easter Monday, I had the pleasure of joining the incoming member House of Assembly for Ijumu constituency, Hon. Obanewo Titus Femi.
With our esteemed leader, fondly referred to as the king of youths in Kogi State, Dr. Yakubu Adabenege Siyaka, who is also serving in his capacity as the Auditor General of Local Government for Kogi State.
His presence, along with his entourage, marked an important occasion, as he took on the role of chairman for the event. It was organized by the Ijumu Ladies Association, which has been a crucial platform for realizing and promoting the collaborative efforts between the government and the people, illustrating the dedication of the good people of Ijumu Local Government.
This gathering served as a powerful testament to the effective implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda and highlighted the exceptional performances of the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
His administration distinctly showcases a commitment to women’s inclusiveness in governance, reflecting a significant step toward meaningful political engagement and empowerment for women in our communities.
