The Elulu of Mopa, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun has constituted two Committees saddled with the responsibility of championing his visions for sons and daughters of the Community.
The Committees according to a statement personally signed by the Mopa/Amuro paramount Ruler are; Elulu Advisory Assembly and Elulu Policy and Project Implementation Committee.
“In order to embark on my strategic plans towards the development of our community. It’s therefore important to constitute two main committees on probono service that will help in developmental plans and Implementation.
He said the Elulu Advisory Assembly is the highest advisory body to the ELULU on policy matters as they are to advice him on “developmental plans for Mopaland, establish specific means and details on how to achieve such plans and policies.”
They are also to guide the Elulu on how to go about day to day administration of Mopa as a kingdom. Other responsibilities and duties will be as time and space dictates.
Members of the Advisory Committee are; former Kogi State acting Governor, Oba Clarence Olafemi, the Oba of Okedagun and the Balogun of Mopa Land, former Deputy Governors Chief Ola Samuel Akande and Arc. Yomi Awoniyi and Chief Shola Ojo.
Others include; Oba Olojo Saul, the Otunba of Mopa Land, Engr. Awoya Kayode, Dr. Toyin Akinlade, Engr. Shola Awe, Chief Duro Adeyele [SAN], the Olumofin of Mopa Land, Prof. Ronke Bello the Erelu of Mopa land, Rev. Folu Samson, Hon. Akindele Rotimi Christopher and Arch. Abayomi Daniel.
The Elulu Policy And Project Implementation Committee is to be responsible for the supervision and implementation of policies and projects as planned, discussed and concluded by the Elulu Advisory Assembly.
They are also to identify areas that need prompt attention of the Elulu across Mopaland. The committee is to work directly with the Elulu towards achieving his developmental vision for Mopa.
The Committee includes; Hon. Yomi Oloke, Chairman, Hon. Monday Elere, Secretary, Mr. Femi Ojo Solomon, PRO while Apostle Godwin Olorunju Micheal, Shegun Williams, Hon. Korede Fatoba Mr. Albert Seyi Omoribaun and Elder Jide Omosaiye are members.
They are to start work immediately.
Similarly, Mr. Julius Abel (On Top) has been appointed as the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Elulu. His appointment takes immediate effect.
