Hon. Salman Mourns Passing of Alalda of Ogidi, Chief Femi Oloruntoba

The Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. Salman Idris has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Barrister (High Chief Alalda) Femi Amos Oloruntoba, the revered Alalda of Ogidi Kingdom and National President of the Ogidi Development Association (ODA).

 

Hon. Idris described the late Chief Oloruntoba as a distinguished legal mind, community leader and selfless patriot whose service to Ogidi Kingdom, Okunland and humanity at large remains enduring. He noted that the deceased’s commitment to unity, development and good governance set a standard worthy of emulation.

 

 

The lawmaker extended heartfelt condolences to the Oloruntoba family, the Ogidi Kingdom and the Okun Development Association, praying for comfort and strength for all who mourn this great loss.

 

Hon. Idris also expressed sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his timely intervention and support during the late Chief’s illness, describing the gesture as compassionate and exemplary.

 

He prayed that the soul of Chief Femi Oloruntoba rest in peace.
