The Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Mobilisation to the Kogi State Governor, Hon. Oshoke Gbenga Sunday says the All Progressives Congress (APC) is confident that it will record an overwhelming victory in Kogi State in the 2027 general elections, as grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of the Tinubu-Ododo partnership continues to gain traction across the state.
This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Mobilisation to the Kogi State Governor, Hon. Oshoke Gbenga Sunday.
According to the statement, the campaign for the continuity of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration has moved beyond rhetoric into active grassroots sensitisation, with party mobilisers already engaging citizens across the state on the need to sustain the current leadership.
Oshoke said the focus of the ongoing campaign is to enlighten Kogi people on the “paramount reasons” for ensuring Governor Ododo continues to work hand in hand with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the duo as sharing a common vision for the state’s progress and development.
He described the APC as the only political party genuinely committed to the welfare of Nigerians, saying its policies were designed to be sustainable and impactful across education, healthcare, infrastructure and economic growth.
The SSA also described President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as more than a campaign slogan, calling it a concrete commitment to ensuring the benefits of governance reach citizens at all levels, including in Kogi State.
He said the people of Kogi State were increasingly rallying behind Governor Ododo, whom he described as “the people’s choice” for continuity in the 2027 elections, citing the governor’s understanding of citizens’ needs and his commitment to inclusive governance.
Oshoke expressed optimism that with the growing momentum behind the Tinubu-Ododo ticket, the APC was on course to deliver a decisive victory in Kogi State come 2027.
